I grew up in the Mississippi Delta immersed in a rich Southern culture, deeply influencing my art to reveal the stories that even the simplest of things have to share.

Drawing and painting have been lifelong passions. After college, I worked as an artist for a chain of department stores. Later, a career in the IT industry developed leading to less time for painting, although, creating never went away completely. Some of the commission projects I took on over the years included logo design, custom artwork, and artisan-crafted Venetian plaster applications layered with a trowel on interior walls of homes in the area.

For the past seven years, I have been painting more. I just finished my first collection recently. I experiment with different mediums and hover between representation and abstraction. Expanding my craft is very exciting, fulfilling the mission of bringing light, love, and color into new spaces!

I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Commercial Design with a minor in Painting from Delta State University.

I currently live and work in Dallas, Texas.
